I have been wracking my brain all day for something to write about here. Unfortunately all good ideas have fled and I am left with fleeting thoughts. So...here is my oleo (a hodgepodge or miscellaneous mixture) of randomness for tonight.
1. I like beer. Don't care if it's hot out or cold out, what time of year, what mood I am in. I like beer.
2. I like ice cream...the same way I like beer but not together...
3. I like Classical Music, this will surprise some people.
4. I can sing along with most top 40, classical Rock & Roll, old-timey music, Jazz and hymns. I don't know why but once I hear it, the lyrics stick with me and I can sing along. It's a gift.
5. I am a well-balanced extrovert. According to recent test results I enjoy people and I also enjoy my alone time. I function well in either the extroverted environment or the introverts. My friends on both sides will be happy to hear this.
6. My dad asked me yesterday on the phone if I was ready for school to start. After the hysterical laughter died, I yelled at him. I guess I'm not ready...
7. I don't go anywhere without my cell phone and I am starting to hate that about myself. I need to unplug completely for a few days. Hopefully soon!
8. I am happy and sad for my dear friend. Happy that he is back home so we can spend some time. Sad that his vacation was not as restful or relaxing as he needed and not as productive either. Things will get better...I will see to that!
9. I love Facebook! It has reconnected me with so many people from my past and I LOVE IT! I love hearing from Diane, bantering with Beth and Bridget, catching up with the Matt's, Jenn, and even sharing with Pam, just down the hall. I feel like Facebook has expanded my support system and allowed me to be a part of lives I never would have had the opportunity to connect with before.
10. Beer makes me sleepy. I wanted to have 10 things but...beer makes me sleepy so that's all I got. Hopefully tomorrow will be more insightful and inspiring...tonight...beer makes me sllleeee...zzzzzzzz
